Tour with insight into olive production and tasting of different olive varieties.
Hands-on activity
The students make their own olive product with ingredients from the island’s olives, almonds, cheeses and herbs. We review the history and development of the ingredients together while offering samples of the island’s organic products.
The hands-on activity takes place at Naturhelten’s olive and almond plantation in the Serra de Tramuntana mountain range near Fornalutx.
Teaching focus, hands-on activities, learning objectives and discussion topics are elaborated on after booking the study trip program.
