Health production
Visit to the area’s local organic health production.
We collaborate with organic producers and offer tours with insight into the production of local raw materials.
Hands-on activity:
The students make their own health product with input from the island’s honey production and herbs. Propolis balls are used for throat infections, infectious diseases.
Meanwhile, information is provided about bee venom, which promotes health for, among other things, strength. New research at Novo Nordisk shows that organic pollen has a beneficial effect on intestinal diseases.
The hands-on activity takes place at Naturhelten’s olive and almond plantation in the Serra de Tramuntana mountain range near Fornalutx.
Teaching focus, hands-on activities, learning objectives and discussion topics are elaborated on after booking the study trip program.
