Vision and Staff

At Naturhelten, we work to communicate the value of nature – with heart, hands, and professionalism.

We believe that when you take from nature, you must also give back. This applies both at home and abroad.

When we hold study trips and courses in Mallorca, we use the island’s paths, landscapes, and resources. Therefore, we also give something back to the island through donations to the Mallorca Preservation Foundation, which works to preserve the island’s nature and biodiversity.

The same principle applies in Denmark. When we use nature’s materials – for example, wood for teaching or communication – we enter into partnerships with timber merchants and local actors. Every time a tree is felled or used, we ensure that nature gets something in return – for example, in the form of nesting boxes for birds that may have lost their habitat.

For us, it’s about taking responsibility, giving back, and taking care of what we love.

We are knowledge-hungry nature guides, driven by curiosity and respect for nature.

Professionalism, passion, and respect for the balance of nature are our common core values – they live in us, right down to our bones and soul.

Naturhelten.dk offers tailored and sustainable corporate events

Naturhelten held its first nature guidance courses in 2020.

Already in 2021, Naturhelten was nominated for Denmark’s best Nature Guide at Naturmødet 2021 by the Danish Nature Guide Association. Naturhelten’s Nature Guide is Mireille Segato van Berkel, who is a trained Nature Guide by the Danish Nature Guide Association and the University of Copenhagen.

Mireille has 12 years of experience from management work in large companies, including Haldor Topsøe and Chr. Hansen.

The goal of Naturhelten’s nature guidance events for companies is to teach participants the qualities of nature’s outdoor spaces, strengthen participants’ nature knowledge, and expand participants’ knowledge of sustainability. Through team-building exercises, theoretical concepts, and outdoor nature challenges.

The courses are offered to smaller staff groups and private individuals. Naturhelten’s nature guidance is based on the participants themselves being physically involved in the nature guidance activities, so that the participants form relationships with each other and with nature.

Spending time in nature is documented as health-promoting.

Certain parts of forest areas emit blood pressure-lowering substances that benefit people with high blood pressure. Nature positively helps people’s stress levels, diabetes and the urge to smoke are reduced. Naturhelten’s outdoor space management is remembered for several years by the participants, as the senses and theoretical transfer tools support the participants’ memory in the future.
