The life of insects

Approx. 4-5 hours. Tour length: 5-8 km at a leisurely pace with breaks.

We explore the nature on the mountainside around Sóller. We taste wild herbs and learn about the animals in the area.

The tour takes us to local plantations where it is possible to learn about the important role of insects for cultivation in the plantations and for the wild nature in the Sóller valley.

The students will be able to freely use various materials for the investigations on the tours to illustrate the included learning objectives, observations, empiricism, modeling and hands-on activities that will appear in the daily program.

The tours conclude with the students presenting analyses and discussing the results in groups or in a joint plenary session.
